Description:
The Fenton M. Slaughter adobe on Prado Road, ten miles southwest of Chino, located on a ranch owned and operated by Slaughter's daughter, Julia Slaughter Fuqua. The adobe was built by Raimundo Yorba and purchased in 1868 by Slaughter. It served as a stagecoach station on the Butterfield route, Indian trading post, and United States Post Office.
