- Photograph of the exterior view of the Sterling residence in Redlands, ca.1900. The residence is situated on a hill in the distance, and it features two chimneys, a balcony, and rectangular windows. The entryway in view is beautifully decorated with plants and bushes. The lawn surrounding the road is well manicured. Tall Italian Cypress trees flank the road. A post, consisting of four pillars with fancy lintels that connects them all, guards the entrance to the road. A lamp hangs from the center lintel.
