- Photograph of a birdseye view looking west on Eighth Street in Riverside, with Mt. Rubidoux in the distance, ca.1907. There are several horse-drawn vehicles in the street. While there is very little vegetation in the foreground of the picture, save a handful of young palm trees, towards thebackground and Mt. Roubidoux, there are many trees. Several signs can be seen along the building- and utility-lined street, including, on the right side of the street, "Covey Wagon Works. General Blacksmithing", "Carriage Painting Trimming", and on the left side, "Moore's Lunches", "Davenport Bros. Plumbing", Tinning Estimates Furnished. Tel Black[...]61", "Stone Bros. Granite & Marble Works", "Home Oil Co[...] Youn[...] Love[...] LS & Gasoline".
