- Photograph of Main Street in Riverside, looking south, ca.1900-1903. A streetcar is in the middle of the street. Plants are planted in small cut out areas of the sidewalk adjacent to the curb. Awnings shade storefronts at right. Utility poles and lines run up both sides of the street. A small stand of large trees is on the left side of the street (foreground). Beyond buildings (commercial and residential) are visible. One has a dome tower. An American flag flies from the roof of another. A dog walks next to a horse-drawn wagon in the street near the streetcar.
