- Photograph of standing water in a ditch and gullies as a result of irritating in an orange grove, Riverside, ca.1890-1900. A stream of murky water flows across the foreground with mounds of dirt along its far side. Thin streams seep out from the larger one and sits in the grooves of the soil in the groves at center. The thin streams flow between the spaced out rows of small orange trees that continue into the background.
