Description:
Photograph of the exterior view of the County Jail in Riverside, with buggy parked in front, ca.1910. The two-story Spanish-style building has a multicurved gable (left corner), and a tower with battlements (right corner). Spanish tiles cover the roofs. Above the main entrance is a balcony decorated with flowers in flowerpots. Below is a large arched entryway leading to the front entrance. A bicycle leans against the wall near the entrance. Two baby palm trees are planted in the lawn in front. Several more young trees and palms line the side of the building. Another building and a house are visible in the background.
