Description:
Photograph of the exterior view of Salt Lake Station in Riverside, built in 1904. The mission-style building has a large enclosed patio with wooden benches where several people are patiently waiting for their train. The main section of the station consists of multicurved gables, arched windows and arched passageways. The inclined roofs of the building are covered with Spanish tiles. Embossed on several multicurved gables is "1904, S.P.L.A. & S.L. R.R.". Other legible signs include: on a carriage "transfer, home 114 S, Lebranch", on a building "[...]mer Mfg. Co.". Utility poles, trees and another building are visible in the background.
