- Photograph of an exterior view of the Soboba Indian store and house in Soboba, near Riverside, 1896. The building is at right and is made of grass and small branches lashed into bunches. The roof is made in a similar fashion. At left is a platform made from tree branches that is supporting a large woven basket and two smaller circular pots. The ground around the building is covered with sparse grass and small rocks.
