From left to right, a jailer, Detective Paul Stevens, Cyrus G. Northcott and Deputy Sheriff Quinn pose at the Riverside jail. They stand in a row. Everyone looks to the camera, except for Deputy Sheriff Quinn. He faces towards the left. Jail cell bars stand across the background. Behind the men, the cell door stands ajar at center. Cyrus G. Northcott was detained as a witness against his son and wife, Gordon and Sarah Louise Northcott, respectively. Gordon S. Northcott was suspected and later convicted of the murders of a few young boys. Sarah Louise Northcott was convicted as an accomplice to her son's crimes.
