- Photograph article dated August 6, 1964 reads, "John Roberts, who will begin his senior year at Reseda High School next month, has returned to his home in Tarzana, following a six-week summer training program in agricultural science at the University of California, Riverside. John, of 18530 Hatteras St. participated with 29 boys from throughout the United States. Each of them contributed an individual research project, working with college scientists. John's project involved complete study of the biology and life cycles of four species of moth. He conducted a series of cross-fertilization experiments, which were used to determine the exact relationships of the four species."
