- This photo of a giant pine tree, as seen during a snow storm, was taken between Palm Springs and Riverside in the heart of the mighty San Jacinto. Founded in 1870, and incorporated on April 9, 1888, the City of San Jacinto is located at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains and adjacent to the San Jacinto River. April 28, 1937.
