- View of a metate (millstone) with six manos (hand-held stones) used at one time by local Cahuilla Indians to grind acorns into meal. This metate is located near the Highland Springs Hotel in the Cherry Valley area of Riverside County and was discovered by a man identified as "Father Girard." November 11, 1936.
